Many 5th graders at EMS decided to start their own business after completing an entrepreneur project to gain understanding of the free enterprise system in America. Together, they set up a 5th grade market during the afternoon on October 14, where they sold their home-made items to other students (and teachers) within the school. At the end of the afternoon, they earned a total of $535.28 of which half will be given to the fund for a tree and bench in memory of Cheyenne Burwell. The other half will be used for the students on their 5th grade fieldtrip.
