In Ms. Pyle's 5th grade Art class, the 3 R's (reduce, reuse, and recycle) were taught using puppets. Students were divided into six groups and each group wrote a screenplay, which included information about being environmentally friendly. They designed and created their characters out of used water bottles and scrap construction paper, painted their setting on large paper, and performed their plays in class.
